The Latin American Association of Development Finance Institutions (ALIDE) and the Agricultural Development Bank of the Dominican Republic (BAGRÍCOLA), with the support of BANDEX, the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), S&P Global Market Intelligence and Texel Group, organized the 55th ALIDE General Assembly, which was held May 12-14, 2025 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
The central theme of this edition was “From Global Crisis to Comprehensive Security: Development Banking: Shaping the Future of Latin America and the Caribbean”, which allowed for reflection on the strategic role of development banking in the face of current challenges. During three days, plenary sessions, panels and specialized workshops addressed key issues such as climate resilience, financial inclusion, sustainability and digital transformation.
The Assembly brought together 220 representatives of development finance institutions from the region and other parts of the world, consolidating itself as a platform for dialogue, cooperation and the generation of proposals to address current and future development finance challenges.
