The Latin American Association of Development Financing Institutions (ALIDE) organized the 52nd Ordinary Meeting of ALIDE General Assembly, the annual summit of the Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean, bringing together 265 representatives of the development finance community, both public and private.
This year, the General Assembly was held in Willemstad, Curaçao, in a hybrid format that allowed face-to-face and virtual attendance for the first time. The purpose of the event was to analyze the role of “Innovative technologies and digitization to promote Latin American and Caribbean development (LAC): finance for development” focusing on actions developed and implemented by development banks in the productive sectors and SMEs, financing for gender equity and sustainable development.
Representatives of 21 countries from Latin America and the Caribbean, 9 extra-regional countries and 17 international agencies met at the 52 General Assembly.
