The Latin American Association of Financial Institutions for Development (ALIDE) and Banco do Nordeste do Brasil (BNB), with the sponsorship of the Government of Ceará, BNDES and Entrepay, as well as the support of IDB, CAF, and SP Global, organized the 54th Annual Meeting of the ALIDE General Assembly held in Fortaleza, Ceará, Brazil, from May 15 to 17, 2024.
In this edition, the central theme of the event was “Development Finance in the Face of Current Global Challenges“, which allowed addressing issues related to sustainable finance in the region, in correspondence with the needs to finance the SDGs at a broad level, the financing of productive transformation focused on stimulating sustainable production and consumption.
The event was attended by 270 representatives of financial institutions and development banks from 20 Latin American and Caribbean countries, 6 extra-regional countries and 20 international organizations.
