Context
Despite advances in financial inclusion in Latin America and the Caribbean, there are still lags that negatively affect groups traditionally excluded or underserved by the financial system. One of these groups is women, particularly businesswomen, who face both supply and demand barriers when accessing financial products. One of these barriers is gender biases, which have implications on whether credits are assigned, and the conditions under which they are granted.
Objective
This webinar is intended to discuss between the participants the theoretical generalities of biases, and particularities related to gender biases in the financial sector and the implications for the financial inclusion of women, related to their access to loans and other financial products.
