January 17, 2022- The Latin American Association of Development Financing Institutions (ALIDE) opened the call for ALIDE Awards 2022.

The annual competition held since 2009, seeks to recognize the most outstanding practices of ALIDE members to promote the dissemination and the exchange of innovative, and sustainable initiatives in the region. 

Development banks financial and non-financial programs, products and services that wish to apply for the various categories may be submitted to the competition until April 10, 2022.

In this edition, 6 categories will be awarded. The Entrepreneurial Woman Award is added to the  Financial Products categories; Management, Technological Modernization; Information, Technical Assistance and Social Responsibility; Extra-regional Bank; and ALIDE Green Award.

In this new special category will reward the institution hat has promoted initiatives to support the financial and social inclusion of women, as well as the development of women-led enterprises.

The winners of the ALIDE Awards 2022 will be announced during the 52nd Annual Meeting of ALIDE General Assembly, that will be held from May 18 to 20 in Willemstad, Curazao.
