54 Meeting of the General Assembly of ALIDE – Fortaleza 2024

The Latin American Association of Development Financial Institutions and Banco do Nordeste do Brasil (BNB) are pleased to invite you to the ALIDE Annual Meeting – FORTALEZA 2024, which will be held at the headquarters of Banco Nordeste, in its President Getúlio Vargas Administrative Center. , Av. Dr. Silas Munguba 5700-Passaré, in Fortaleza, State of Ceará, Brazil, from May 15 to 17, 2024.

A complex environment of risks that derive from the global economic situation and tend towards chronic instability in the region with an impact on the worsening of poverty and social inequalities; make it important to consider “Development finance in the face of current global challenges” as the central theme of the meeting.

The LAC Development Banking Summit will address issues that will allow us to move towards a higher stage of sustainable finance in the region, in line with the needs to finance the SDGs at a broad level, moving towards the financing of productive transformation focused on stimulating sustainable production and consumption, complemented by effective action to promote impact investment that will lead us to advance in the achievement of the social SDGs.
