December 27, 2018.- ALIDE’s latest publication, entitled “Innovación Financiera para el Desarrollo Local y Territorial” (Financial innovation for local and territorial development) compiles and gives an in-depth description of the development finance institution programs that won the ALIDE 2018 Prizes because of their coverage, innovation and contribution to the development of their respective countries.

It is a recognized fact that ALIDE prize-winning projects are initiatives that are capable of being replicated in other countries of the region. In this sense, this book comprises a useful instrument for transmitting specialized know-how on good development banking practices.

This edition covers the following four programs: “Fideicomiso Público de Contratación (FPC)” (Public contractual trust fund) of Mexico’s Banco Nacional de Obras y Servicios Públicos, S.N.C. (Banobras); “Programa Desenvolvimento Territorial (Prodeter)” (Land development program) , of Banco do Nordeste do Brasil S.A (BNB); “Fortalecimiento de la Economía Local y Crecimiento Bajo en Carbono” (Strengthening of the local economy and low carbon growth) of Colombia’s Instituto para el Desarrollo de Antioquia (IDEA); and “Eco.business Fund”, of German Kreditanstalt Für Wiederaufbau (KFW).
