ALIDE 2021 Prizes: New call for good practices entries

  • The contest is subdivided into five categories, one of which recognizes contributions to sustainable development.

January 23.- The Latin American Association of Development Financing Institutions (ALIDE) issued a new call for good practices entries to compete for the ALIDE 2021 Prizes. The contest recognizes and promotes the dissemination and sharing of development bank initiatives: financial and non-financial programs, products, and services.

The contest –for which entries will be accepted up until April 14, 2021,– has become a point of reference for the recognition of innovative and creative development bank practices. Over its more than 10-year existence, initiatives have been recognized that produce an impact on areas of finance as varied at agriculture, infrastructure, and digitalization, among others. And since 2019, the initiatives of extra-regional banks have also been valued.

Participating institutions can compete for the ALIDE 2021 prizes in the available categories: Financial products; Technological Management and Modernization; Information, Technical Assistance ,and Social Responsibility; the ALIDE Green Prize; and Extra-regional Bank.

All entries must also follow the presentation format shown in the Contest Terms. Entries competing for the ALIDE 2021 Prizes will be judged by an independent jury with wide experience in development finance and prizes will be awarded during ALIDE’s 51th General Assembly.
