ALIDE developed a webinar on Evaluation and Monitoring of the Impact of Development Banking
- During the webinar, experiences of development banking and its important interaction with universities were shared.
September 17, 2021- Faced with the need to improve productive financing programs and optimize the resources allocated by development banks, the Latin American Association of Development Financing Institutions (ALIDE) organized the webinar on Evaluation and monitoring of the impact of banking development: International experiences and proposals.
The training was developed in three sessions that allowed the sharing of experiences on institutionalized methodologies for the evaluation of development banking. In addition, the impact of the measures adopted by public development banks to face the crisis caused by the pandemic was analyzed, in relation to the ESG Agenda, and the importance of joint work between development banks and universities was presented for the evaluation of results and impacts of specific programs.
During the sessions there were exhibitors from various financial institutions such as Inter-American Development Bank (IADB), Banco do Nordeste do Brasil (BNB), Banco de Inversión y Comercio Exterior (BICE), Fideicomisos Instituidos en Relación con la Agricultura (FIRA), Banco Nacional de Costa Rica and Banco de Desenvolvimento de Minas Gerais. Also participated representatives of the Universidad Federal de Pernambuco, Universidad Federal de Viçosa and Universidad Iberoamericana.
