Santiago, one of Latin America’s most important business centers, is the capital of Chile and the center of the country’s cultural and tourist activities. It is a modern metropolis, with high safety standards, an excellent hotel infrastructure and a varied culinary offering, an interesting historical city-center, a bohemian neighborhood, peaceful residential areas and one of the most important Pre-Columbian Art Museums in Latin America. With only an hour’s journey, you can reach the country’s central coastal beaches and international-class ski centers.
Given its wide variety of landscapes, Chile is essentially a country for nature-lovers and offers each visitor a unique experience: mountain climbing, horseback rides, skiing, archeological exploration, observation of its wealth of plant and animal life, diving and beaches, rafting and kayaking on rivers and in fjords, sailing among ice floes, or visits to ritual sites on Easter Island.
The majesty of the Andean mountain range and the coastal beaches washed by the waters of the Pacific Ocean shelter a land of valleys and vineyards at the center with wide expanses of native forests in the south.
