This new global cooperation tool aims to boost <strong data-start=\"719\" data-end=\"754\">Financing for Development (FfD)<\/strong> in line with the <strong data-start=\"772\" data-end=\"812\">Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"815\" data-end=\"1116\">As part of the launch, <a href=\"https:\/\/financing.desa.un.org\/sites\/default\/files\/ffd4-documents\/2025\/FFD4%20SEVILLA%20PLATFORM%20FOR%20ACTION%20INITIATIVES_Full%20List%20.pdf\">a list of approved initiatives<\/a> was published and incorporated into the digital registry hosted on the summit\u2019s official website. This registry will serve as a space for <strong data-start=\"1007\" data-end=\"1036\">transparency and exchange<\/strong>, enabling key actors to interact with the initiatives and track their progress.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1118\" data-end=\"1352\">Among the highlighted initiatives is <em><strong>\u00ab<\/strong><\/em><strong data-start=\"1155\" data-end=\"1192\">Foresight for Sustainable Finance<em>\u00bb<\/em><\/strong>, led by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.alide.org.pe\/en\/\">Latin American Association of Development Financing Institutions (ALIDE)<\/a>, representing a coalition composed of <a href=\"https:\/\/financeincommon.org\/\">FiCS<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/climaesociedade.org\/en\/\">ICS<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unepfi.org\/\">UNEP FI<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/europeanclimate.org\/\">ECF<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1354\" data-end=\"1597\">This proposal seeks to promote <strong data-start=\"1385\" data-end=\"1439\">strategic foresight applied to sustainable finance<\/strong> and to facilitate the implementation of the outcomes of FFD4, with the aim of building financial systems prepared to face the challenges of the 21st century.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=&#8221;31534&#8243; img_size=&#8221;large&#8221;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1599\" data-end=\"1897\"><strong>The initiative includes a concrete first phase<\/strong>, comprising the establishment of a collaborative platform, the organization of online foresight workshops, and the hosting of a side event during FFD4, titled \u201cExploring 2050 Pathways for Sustainable Finance\u201d, to be held on July 1.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1899\" data-end=\"2181\">In addition, <strong>its continuity is foreseen with activities leading up to and during COP30 in Bel\u00e9m<\/strong>, where strategic long-term scenarios for sustainable finance will be developed. A <strong data-start=\"2081\" data-end=\"2101\">synthesis report<\/strong> compiling the main findings will be published at the end of 2025 or early 2026.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2183\" data-end=\"2547\">Foresight for Sustainable Finance will directly contribute to the FfD areas of action related to systemic issues, as well as to science, technology, innovation, and capacity building.
