This move reinforces ALIDE\u2019s vision of integrating strategic actors from the financial landscape of Latin America and the Caribbean, with a focus on inclusion, sustainability, and institutional strengthening.<\/p>\n<p>SEPS is the technical body responsible for overseeing, regulating, and supervising the entities and organizations that comprise Ecuador\u2019s popular and solidarity economy\u2014a sector that represents a key component of the country\u2019s financial system. Its work helps to ensure the transparency, stability, and sustainability of these organizations, while promoting social well-being and protecting the rights of their members.<\/p>\n<p>Through this new alliance, ALIDE gains the experience of an institution that actively promotes financial inclusion via cooperative, associative, and community-based models, and that works to strengthen supervisory and governance capacities in underbanked sectors.
