During the eighteenth edition of the awards, 43 proposals from 19 institutions were submitted, and eleven were the winners.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Category I. Financial Products:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>BNDES Mais Inova\u00e7\u00e3o Program of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bndes.gov.br\/SiteBNDES\/bndes\/bndes_en\">Banco Nacional de Desenvolvimento Econ\u00f4mico e Social (BNDES)<\/a>, Brazil.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A line of credit that boosts private investment in research, development, and innovation (R&amp;D&amp;I) and strengthens the digital transformation of Brazilian industry. Between 2023 and 2024, projects worth more than US$2.5 billion were approved, consolidating this program as a key tool for the \u201cNew Industry Brazil\u201d industrial policy.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=&#8221;30763&#8243; img_size=&#8221;large&#8221;][vc_column_text 0=&#8221;&#8221; css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1749503460076{margin-top: -15px !important;border-top-width: -15px !important;padding-top: -15px !important;padding-bottom: -25px !important;}&#8221;]<strong>LabAgroMInas of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bdmg.mg.gov.br\/en\/\">Banco de Desenvolvimento de Minas Gerais (BDMG)<\/a>, Brazil.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This program seeks to facilitate the transition of rural producers toward more sustainable and regenerative agricultural practices. Through indirect operations with credit cooperatives, the program promotes financial inclusion, agro-industrial development, food security, and the use of new technologies. Management and Technological Modernization:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Decision <\/em><\/strong><strong>Platform of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.finagro.com.co\/institutional-information\">Fondo Para el Financiamiento del Sector Agropecuario (FINAGRO)<\/a>, Colombia.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A free tool that allows for the evaluation of the technical and financial viability of agricultural-livestock projects, especially in rural areas of Colombia with low connectivity. This application seeks to strengthen financial inclusion. Since 2021, it has facilitated nearly 11,600 operations, totaling approximately US$53 million.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=&#8221;30765&#8243; img_size=&#8221;large&#8221;][vc_column_text 0=&#8221;&#8221; css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1749503581622{margin-top: -15px !important;border-top-width: -15px !important;padding-top: -15px !important;padding-bottom: -25px !important;}&#8221;]<strong>Technical Advisory Platform of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fira.gob.mx\/Nd\/IndiceEn.jsp\">Fideicomisos Instituidos en Relaci\u00f3n con la Agricultura (FIRA)<\/a>, Mexico.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This tool brings Agriculture 4.0 technologies to small and medium-sized rural producers in Mexico, using AI, satellite imagery, and remote sensing. It subsidizes up to two years of use and has benefited more than 4,000 users in 25 Mexican states, monitoring nearly 100,000 hectares.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=&#8221;30786&#8243; img_size=&#8221;large&#8221;][vc_column_text 0=&#8221;&#8221; css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1749503698148{margin-top: -15px !important;border-top-width: -15px !important;padding-top: -15px !important;padding-bottom: -25px !important;}&#8221;]<strong><u>Category III. Information, Technical Assistance and Social Responsibility:\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Agroclimatic System SAC \u2013\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bdp.com.bo\/\">BDP, of\u00a0 Banco de Desarrollo Productivo (BDP)<\/a>, Bolivia.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It provides hyperlocal climate alerts and recommendations to rural producers through sensors, forecasts, and audiovisual content in native languages. A total of 67 projects in key sectors have been prioritized, and the technical capacities of the National Designated Authorities have been strengthened, while also promoting regional coordination in venues such as COP29.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=&#8221;30794&#8243; img_size=&#8221;large&#8221;][vc_column_text 0=&#8221;&#8221; css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1749504100235{margin-top: -15px !important;border-top-width: -15px !important;padding-top: -15px !important;padding-bottom: -25px !important;}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #009de5;\"><strong>Bank of the Year<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>With more than 200 years of history, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bancoprovincia.com.ar\/home\/\"><strong>Banco Provincia de Buenos Aires<\/strong><\/a> was recognized as Bank of the Year 2025, in recognition of its outstanding performance in productive financing, financial inclusion, and sustainability, consolidating its role as a development bank in Argentina.<\/p>\n<p>With assets totaling more than US$14 billion and a portfolio that grew 128% in 2024, it allocated 7 out of every 10 dollars to MSMEs, prioritizing the medium and long term. Through products such as Procampo Digital and the Cuenta DNI wallet, with more than 9.9 million users, it has driven digital and social transformation.
