Delegates from public development banks from around the world will participate to exchange and propose new mechanisms to mobilize resources with a sustainable drive.<\/p>\n<p>The Summit brings together more than 520 public development banks from all around the world, with $23 trillion in assets combined. They finance approximately 12% of total global investment each year.<\/p>\n<p>Participants will discuss ways to strengthen their commitment to guide their strategies towards sustainability and give greater visibility to global policy forums related to challenges addressed by public development banks.<\/p>\n<p>Members of the Finance in Common network include multilateral development banks, regional associations of development finance institutions, as well as the International Development Finance Club, international organizations, regulators, civil society organizations, local actors, and the private sector.<\/p>\n<p>During the summit, which will include academic exchanges as well as discussions of the latest innovations in development finance and approaches to solving pressing development issues, Banc\u00f3ldex will share its development strategy for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, its role as a facilitator of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with comprehensive financial and non-financial instruments in Colombia.<\/p>\n<p>Previous editions of FICS were held in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.alide.org.pe\/alide-y-el-bid-seran-coorganizadores-de-la-fics-2023\/\">Abidjan, C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire (2022)<\/a>, Rome (2021) and Paris (2020).[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row 0=&#8221;&#8221;][vc_column parallax=&#8221;content-moving&#8221; width=&#8221;1\/6&#8243;][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;2\/3&#8243;][vc_column_text 0=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #009de5;\"><strong>About Finance in Common<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Finance in Common is the first summit that brings together the world&#8217;s Public Development Banks (PDBs). Its first meeting took place in November 2020. Its objective is to emphasize the crucial role of Public Development Banks (PDBs) in reconciling short-term countercyclical responses to the crisis with sustainable recovery measures that will have a long-term impact on the planet and societies.<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #009de5;\"><strong>About ALIDE<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>ALIDE is the community of financial institutions that produce banking solutions for Latin American and Caribbean development. Founded in 1968, its main purpose is to contribute to the region\u2019s economic and social development by promoting the use of good development finance practices among its members.
