With this initiative, the financial institution seeks to manage, improve and utilize the data for taking actions and strategic decisions in its entity.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the cooperation activities, Hugo Beltr\u00e1n visited Asunci\u00f3n from August 22 to 26 in order to give an induction on Data Governance to the area managers, to the work team (stakeholders) and the command team. In addition, he made a second visit to the BNF from September 19 to 23 in order to close the first stage of the program, which consisted in making a diagnosis of various business areas and defining a roadmap contemplating the points of opportunity for improvement in data management.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, the Kick-Off was held: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/feed\/update\/urn:li:activity:6910011238160719872\/\">A Data-Driven Company of the Program (GOBERDATA)<\/a> that considered a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/alideoficial\/posts\/pfbid028uaM6P5qqWerhPq4qyYBE67yGRMirsrnBRfdKh87pH2N3n1apCjvmZqruTpQPZEel\">workshop for the Stakeholders<\/a>, and there are several issues left to be developed, and challenges to be faced, by the BNF for 2023; among them, expanding Data Governance to other areas and generating a training program for the new Data Governance roles.[\/vc_column_text][vc_images_carousel images=&#8221;23576,23574,23186,23180,23188,23190,23184,23182&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1664485162784{margin-bottom: -15px !important;padding-bottom: -50px !important;}&#8221;][vc_column_text 0=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #009de5;\"><strong>What is Data Governance?<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.powerdata.es\/el-valor-de-la-gestion-de-datos\/bid\/406201\/qu-es-el-gobierno-de-datos-y-por-qu-lo-necesito\">Data governance<\/a> is the capacity and maturity of an organization to manage the knowledge it has about its business information and to innovate products and services based on it.<\/p>\n<p>In an interview in the magazine <a href=\"https:\/\/www.alide.org.pe\/publicaciones-2\/revista-alide\/\">Banca &amp; Desarrollo<\/a>, specialist Hugo Beltr\u00e1n talked about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.alide.org.pe\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Entrevista-Hugo-Beltr%C3%A1n.pdf\">digital transformation and data governance<\/a> and stated that \u201cdata must be considered as an asset and must also be governed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Beltr\u00e1n considers that data governance is one of the main requirements for an organization to be considered as a <a href=\"https:\/\/educacion-ejecutiva.utec.edu.pe\/blog\/que-una-compania-data-driven\">data-driven<\/a> company; that is to say, one that has adapted its business culture to a digitized environment and uses data to improve its functioning.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row 0=&#8221;&#8221;][vc_column parallax=&#8221;content-moving&#8221; width=&#8221;1\/6&#8243;][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;2\/3&#8243;][vc_column_text 0=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #009de5;\"><strong>About ALIDE<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>ALIDE is the community of financial institutions that generates banking solutions for the development of Latin America and the Caribbean.
