High level representatives from the financial institutions will discuss the various experiences faced during the pandemic.\r\n\r\nOn this occasion, the meeting will be held on October 7, 9, 13 and 15 and will consist of a series of digital events. Within the framework of the General Assembly, the position of the Latin American Development Bank System in the international debate on the COVID-19 crisis will be established. In this way, the meeting is framed in the context of Finance in Common , the world summit on development finance to be held in November.\r\n\r\nAs an instrument of public policy for governments, the Development Bank System faces the challenge of mitigating the damage caused by the crisis in the productive and social sectors. But also, the opportunity to establish a strategic response that directs financing towards a new development cycle, with an emphasis on sustainable and inclusive growth.\r\n\r\nIn this context, the General Assembly aims to extract lessons from the banks to achieve the new development cycle. It is co-organized by ALIDE with renowned international financing entities such as the Inter-American Development Bank, the International Development Finance Club (IDFC) and the Minas Gerais Development Bank (BDMG) of Brazil.\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a class=\"button  button_size_2 button_js\" href=\"https:\/\/www.asambleageneralyeventosalide2020.org\/\" target=\"_blank\"     style=\" background-color:#0088cc !important; color:#ffffff;\"><span class=\"button_label\">Viste the web site<\/span><\/a>\n<\/p>\r\n\r\n<h2><span style=\"color: #009de5;\">About the General Assembly<\/span><\/h2>\r\nAs is recognized, the ALIDE General Assembly is the annual summit of the Development Bank System of Latin America and the Caribbean. It is a high-level meeting where the main representatives of the sector discuss financing for development, establish cooperative relations and consensus. It is held annually with the participation of more than 300 representatives of the sector.\r\n<h2><span style=\"color: #009de5;\">About ALIDE<\/span><\/h2>\r\nALIDE is the community of financial institutions that generates banking solutions for the development of Latin America and the Caribbean.
