Bansefi of Mexico joined as an active member of ALIDE
August 2017.- The Banco del Ahorro Nacional y Servicios Financieros S.N.C. (Bansefi), an entity that has the mission of contributing to the economic development of Mexico through inclusion and financial education, joined the Latin American Association of Development Financing Institutions (ALIDE) as an active member.
One of the main objectives of Bansefi is to strengthen savings and credit in Mexico, mainly in the low-income segment, with the support from alliances and distribution networks. By joining ALIDE, it will now be able to strengthen its linkage with the diverse range of institutions that belong to the Association, among which there are international financing bodies and development financial institutions of Latin America and other regions of the world.
With Bansefi as a new member, ALIDE strengthens its presence in the development banking system of Mexico, a system that has a priority function in financing the economic and social development of the country. Specifically, ALIDE will strengthen its function pertaining to financial inclusion and education, matters in which Bansefi is a leading institution.
